What To Expect

We look forward to seeing you at Highland Veterinary Center! We will send you applicable new client forms and patient history forms for each of your pets in advance of your arrival. Filling out these forms prior to your visit, and sending your pet’s previous medical records, helps us make your experience better by preparing in advance for your pet’s specific needs and thereby minimizing your wait time.

You will be greeted warmly by one of our team members and offered a beverage from our refreshment center prior to being escorted to an examination room. Here, one of our experienced veterinary technicians or assistants will meet you and your pet, obtain some additional information and lay the groundwork for the rest of your visit. A veterinarian will see you next, examine your pet and thoughtfully go over any questions or concerns you may have prior to planning additional diagnostics or procedures if necessary. Typically, your veterinary assistant or technician will return at the end of your visit to help wrap things up, ensure that you are comfortable with your pet’s care plan and go over any necessary medications.

Our customer service representative will handle billing and schedule your next appointment as recommended by the veterinary care team.
